# FP3 Substitution integration (OCR June 2009 7iii)

Announcements Posted on
Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016
1. Could someone give me a hand with 7 iii) from OCR FP3 June 2009?

My main issue with this question is not knowing how to start, and the mark scheme isn't very helpful! If you could explain your thought process, that would be amazing

Thank you!

2. Here's the mark scheme for the question
3. So go about the substitution in the normal way. The limits can be identified using (ii) (b). Use part (i) to simplify the integral in theta.

Thanks, I just did it. Don't really know why I was finding it so confusing!
