I doubt the Germans will lose any sleep if Britian left.

If there was reduced trade in German cars to Britain, the Germans would lobby the EU to increase tariffs on British cars exported to the EU so gives a bigger market for German cars in the EU.

I think the most likely scenario is the EU will give inducements to firms located in the UK to move to the EU and also barriers such as restrictions on work visas to further encourage moves to the EU.

the only problem is the only cars britain still has left really are arial, caterham and mclaren all the others are currently owned by other countrys

u don't get it.

if we vote NO or YES - the result will be the same - just the label will change.

We are already out of the EURO and "ever increasing union".

Voting NO just puts a rubber stamp on what exists.
ummmm??

no!!!!
germany wil NEVER go bankrupt all the trade in the world is in the E U they will be safe!!!

Its not relevant who owns the car companies, they only care about profit. If its less profitable to stay in Britain after Brexit, they will leave if there is no difference, they will stay.

The biggest issue is the EU will no doubt impose tariffs on UK exports and car companies like Toyota exports half the cars they make in Britain to the EU. At the moment, the taxpayer pays for membership of the EU, after Brexit, the car company will have to pay for the tariff themselves so it increases costs for them. The UK government could subsidise exporters but that is like paying for access to the EU by a different route.

Caterham is owned by a Malay.
