no such thing as flouro

... unless you want to make breado
Well I'm confused. You're asking for 1,2-dichloro, 3-fluoro butane, but your word document shows 1,2 -dibromo, 2-chloro butane?

And how does C4Cl2F6 relate?

Draw a butane molecule all atoms and bonds.

Replace two of the H atoms on the first two carbon atoms with chlorine atoms.
Replace an H atom on the third carbon with a fluorine atom.

Start with octane and number the carbon atoms 1 to 8.

Substitute an H on carbons number 3 and 5 with a methyl group.

Substitute an H on carbon number 4 with an ethyl group
