Part Time Postgraduate Funding for 2nd year only

I just heard about the Postgraduate funding from August 2016 for amount up to £ 10,000.
I started my part time (2 years course) MSc in September 2015 (self funded) and will finish my 1st year this month, my question is will I be able to apply for loan for my second year after August 2016?

Unfortunately no - early guidance hinted that this might be possible but SFE have now confirmed that only courses started after August 2016 will be eligible for the loan
