Cambridge Masters requirements

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

How difficult is it to get accepted at Cambridge for a masters?

    My Pros:
I have a first from a mediocre UK Uni
    I am bilingual
I have been working as a Software Developer for the last 5 years
I have co-founded a mobile tech startup valued at over a million euros
I have been doing MOOCs since graduating in 2011
I have spoken at Developer/Tech conferences

    My Cons:
My undergrad transcript is not good. I worked really hard in the last year to scrape a first.
My academic references will be generic as I did not really interact with anyone during my undergrad.
I don't have anything prestigious to my name except maybe my (failing) startup valuation.

My intuition tells me that my academic transcript and my references will let me down.

    I am interested in

MPhil in Machine Learning, Speech and Language Technology

    or Stats/CompSci masters.

Also, what can I do in the next few years to increase my chances?

My motivation is PhD and then research in Machine Learning or Comp Sci.
