    Hey so I'm really stuck in this mcq so if anyone could kindly explain it to me I'd me grateful Name:  Screenshot_20160602-030551.png

    A - The point at the end is a node. Open tubes cannot form a standing wave if the point at the end is a node it must be an anti-node
    B - Both points at the end of the tube are nodes, similar to A, standing waves cannot be formed in a open tube.
    C - The point at the end is an anti-node which standing waves cannot be formed in a closed tube, it must be a node.
    D - Both speakers emitted from both ends and the point at the end of the wavelength at the end of the tube is at an anti-node, hence standing waves can be formed.

    Not sure if this is the correct explanation.
