Successful for job interview at Sainsburys unable to do hours

I was successful for an interview with Sainsburys but unfortunately I wouldn't be able to do the hours (it was early mornings 5 days a week) due to uni. The said that they would put my application on hold and call me if a vacancy comes through that suits my availability. Does anyone think they'll actually call me if one is available?

(I posted this on the Sainsburys thread but it's taking forever for people to reply)
My sister applied for Morrisons and she couldn't do the hours offered. They did end up calling her back and offering other hours when it came up, but this was a couple of months later.

What time in the year was this?
I mean they might but it might be a while before another vacancy becomes available
