GCSE Maths: Any tips for an A - A* Grade?

well, i messed up on the non calc - i blame my mind set i didn't calm down before the exam and came out with 37 - 41 marks.

Right, now i'm working my ass of to get 70 - 100 marks for a B grade any tips to virtually get every single one right before the staples so i can guarantee my self 37 - 40 marks at the start before the real sh*t happens?
In the exam you have lots of time to do things slowly, so take advantage of this and reread questions. You also should check through all your answers at the end not just the ones at the back of the paper so you dont lose easy marks. I accidentally got the standard form one wrong as i did not write the answer in standard form for the previous test.
