# How can i go around these kinds of questions in maths?

1. David drives from Chelton to Bolko. He passes through Chemstowe on the way.
The distance from Chelton to Chemstowe is 29 miles.
The distance from Chemstowe to Bolko is 23 miles.David leaves Chelton at 9:00
He drives from Chelton to Chemstowe at an average speed of 58mph.What speed does David travel between Chemstowe and Bolko to arrive at 9:45
2. Break it down.

You could draw a diagram using dots to represent those locations. Then mark the distances on and consider how long it'd take to travel 29 miles at 58mph and so on
