Functionalism and religious market theory
Do functionalists say anything about religious market theory? I know postmodernists argue religion is a matter of personal consumer choice and that Marxists state that the ruling classes control the means of production and therefore the spread of ideas and beliefs (such as through religion),but what do functionalists say? I'm doing A2 Sociology with AQA Beliefs in Society
