Help please with my final grade at Uni!!

So I'd like to work out my overall Uni grade for UniSecond year is 30% And we drop a unit is they do 30% of 100 cats rather than 120So for second year I got 56 52 57 54 50
I'd really like a 2:2
And third year is 70% of 100 cats But I don't understand the 40 cat thing I have 3 units with 20 cats 48 45 60 And one unit worth 40 cats which was 51I don't really know how to work it out but I'd love to know my grade. I wasn't sure how to work out 40 cats?

Second year overall grade = 0.2×(56+52+57+54+50)=53.80.2 \times (56+52+57+54+50)= 53.8

Third year overall grade = 0.2×(48+45+60)+(0.4×51)=510.2 \times (48+45+60) + (0.4 \times 51) = 51 . (basically, you can think of the 40 CATS as them being two 20 CATS with the same grade)

Overall grade = (0.3×53.8)+(0.7×51)=51.84(0.3 \times 53.8) + (0.7 \times 51) = 51.84

It seems like you are safe :borat:

Thank you one of the grades was provisional the 45 is actually 51 so think that might bring it up a bit more?

By a small amount, but it wouldn't make a huge difference, unless a 2:2 needs a higher grade at your uni.

That's cool I need at least 50% for a 2:2 so I'm happy. Two of my friend want me to work out their grades but have 30 cat units so guessing I do it the same but with 0.3 in the calculation?
