Volunteering with broken arm

Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

I recently broke my arm (about a week ago) and I'm looking at at least another 4-6 weeks off uni. I'm going crazy sitting in the house with nothing to do and hate feeling completely useless.

Does anyone know of any organisations that would let me volunteer or even informally help out with only one fully-functioning arm for just a few weeks?

It depends what it is you are asking to do. Obviously you are physically limited, but there might be lighter duties you could do.
Use the do it site and see whats on offer. maybe you could do some reception or befriending sort of work.

Normally they like people to volunteer for longer, but small charities might be less formal. Maybe you could do something with the church such as befreidning old people? Have a look on the do it site to see whats available. I think its up to you to explain to them what you can manage for their benefit and not the other way round.
