So long story short, I've applied for student finance once before but after one year of university, due to some personal issues I dropped out. My loan therefore was only paid for one year. This was back in 2011.
My life circumstances have now changed and I once again have the opportunity, or better said, time, to study.
That said the problem of money still remains. So I was hoping to apply for student finance yet again. However I noticed numerous official websites saying that a loan is usually only granted for your first degree. This part got me a bit confused.
I mean, I never actually finished a first degree, so technically, this would be my first. On the other hand, I have APPLIED for a loan before for a degree and did borrow a years worth of money from the loans company. So this would be my second application BUT for my first degree, since I don't really have one yet.
All that said, if anyone knows, can someone please clarify whether or not I would be allowed to get a loan or not?
P.S. I'm an EU citizen, living in ENgland for the past 5 years now.
Thanks in advance for any replies
Am I eligible for a loan if I've applied before but never graduated?
