Last year in AS I struggled with them both, due to lack of interest, motivation, lack of skill, and poor teaching. I picked myself up this year, enjoy them both a lot more as in A2 physics and even maths become a lot more interesting. Maths is my current favourite subject and while it is still tough, I feel very confident. Physics is still a bit hit and miss, while I do find the content interesting, it requires a huge amount of application rather than just reciting information from the text book, so it is still very tough. However, A-Levels are not meant to be easy. I have learnt first hand that once you actually put the work in, you see results.(Original post by TheNerdxP)
See, initially Physics was my backup plan if my Law pathway fails. However, I would rather not do Physics if it's going to ruin my plan of going to Cambridge by not doing brilliantly in it. I like the subject, however I often make silly errors with my mathematics which could lead to a lower level. What's your personal opinion on the two subjects at A-Level?
Please help with A-Level choices!!
