Conversion of 1-chloropropane to propan-1-ol

I don't remember doing this conversion?
How does it happen and what are the conditions? I do OCR Chemistry A (A2)
Nucleophillic substiution the OH- performs a backside attack effectively displacing what becomes a chloride ion. Naoh (aq) heated under reflux.

Ohh yes I remember now... with the trend in reactivity of the C-I and C-Cl bonds etc. Forgot that I would have to remember that far back:tongue:
