Scottish qualifications for Oxbridge

Hi folks,

I am a student currently in fourth year at high school and I'm looking to pursue medicine as a career. I was wondering if anyone has documents or websites that show the number of Highers and Advanced Highers taken by those who are accepted into Oxbridge or any other relevant information regarding "Scottish Qualifications for Oxbridge"?

If you visit the Cambridge website, it says that a typical offer would be 3 Advanced Highers at A. If your school does not allow 3 advanced highers, then 2 Advanced Highers and a further higher should be studied in 6th Year.
Here's a little copy and past:

Scottish qualificationsFor Part A, candidates should take National 5 (previously Standard Grade) qualifications in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. Students who are not taking National 5 exams will meet the Part A requirement if they have Highers / Advanced Highers in these subjects.For Part B, Highers or Advanced Highers must be achieved in Chemistryand two further subjects from the following list: Biology, Mathematics,Physics. At least one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Physics must be studied to Advanced Higher (SCQF Level 7).

I also sugest you look at the "making a competitive application" page to get more of an idea of what qualifications a typical person studying medicine there would have.

At Oxford:
Advanced Highers: AA (taken in one academic year and to include Chemistry, plus Biology or Mathematics or Physics)Highers: AAAAA (taken in one academic year)
