1. I pray for an easy C4 to balance the C3 paper, but I heard that they are independently written and therefore it may be just as hard.

Independently written is better, I'd rather not sit another paper written by the team who made that C3!
3. Someone help me with question 7c http://www.mrbartonmaths.com/resourc...QAJune10QP.pdf

It says find two coordinates... I can find one but how do i find the other?

Hopefully this helps It is a bit tricky to spot that second parallelogram which really sets up the whole question.

(EDIT: Just checked the mark scheme, they do it by adding PB to OA and by adding AB to OP. Whichever works!)
5. Just did the Jan 2013 paper and it was a bit tricky

7. My prediction for this year is the last question to be a hard vectors question. Anyone else got any other predictions? :P

Standard paper. Hard vectors or parametric equations question

9. please can someone explain jun 14 question 6 b ii
The point S lies on a line through P that is parallel to l2 . The line RS is perpendicularto the line PQ .Find the coordinates of S.[4 marks]

How does the second parallelogram work? I though B has to remain on L2.

Bricking it for a hard vectors question :s
11. Anyone know where I can get some really hard questions for this unit? I've done as many AQA papers as I can but I fear that that's comfort revising now after Wednesday's ordeal. I want to prepare for the literal worst.

What are solomon papers like and do they even exist for MPC4, I hear people go on about them all the time?

I don't understand how the AS core papers were similar to last year's standards then that abomination happened.

Find the vector equation for PS, then find RS through PS - R. Then, set RS X PQ= 0.

Yes they exist but I didn't find Them that difficult and I'm not even A student in maths. Attached below for ya

Do you have the mark scheme for the attachment?

You're right, I think I mis-labelled the second diagram but the idea still stands!
17. Can tell this paper will be a pile of crap after that C3 paper, bye bye Uni
