cheers; what u thinking number-wise?
To be perfectly honest my friend im an A grade maths student so only pay attention to the A boundary, i reckon for c3 an A will be 56 or 57. For core 4 i reckon 57 or 58

100 UMS - 66
A* - 61
A - 55
B - 49
C - 43

I think my estimate might be a bit low for the 100 UMS mark but 66/67 would probably be 100, if not close to it.
I think you're probably being optimistic. C4 last year was just as hard (if not harder) and 100 UMS was 69

I got landa as 1 and u as a 1/2
Yep that's what I got as well
5. The questions was to differentiate tan^-1 (3x/2) by implicit differentiation, I didnt do it that way but if you look in the formula book it gives you the general form of differentiating inverse tan which is 1/(1+x^2). Putting in 3x/2 for our x value would give us 1/(1+9/4x^2) so times the whole thing by 4/4 would give you 4/(4 + 9x^2) thats what I did :/
6. did anyone for question 3b) get -57/2 + 9/2ln3
7. for the angles one did anyone get 99.6 and 260.4?
8. Cos theta was 23/35

I did that exactly so I got k as 4, I then went on and didn't even use by parts for the next bit, but still got C and pi. Think I'd get about 2/3 marks for the whole thing and need 96 UMS for my uni, oh well

I agree, c4 was easier this year to be quite honest

Well I'm afraid it's 6, I have attached the working.
16. Im really worried because the grade boundaries for this are gonna be really high!!
17. (Original post by Mitul106)
i got -3x + 2 + 9/2x + whatever it was
Ffs i had C as 3
