Sixth Form in Birmingham

Hello guys, I am a Spanish native, however I am currently completing my first year in the UK after receiving my education in Spain.
I am in year 12 at Shireland Collegiate Academy, but am interested in moving to a more academic 6th Form. Any ideas/ suggestions?
I just want a good place to learn.

What are you studying? Some colleges might be better suited than others to your particular subjects

I've asked this to be moved to the Sixth Form forum, you should get more replies there :h:
If you're in Birmingham, have you looked at the King Edward grammar schools? They are what I would call 'academically orientated', and have very high standards.

King Edward Five Ways - http://www.kefw.org/
King Edward Camp Hill Boys School - http://www.camphillboys.bham.sch.uk/

That said, I'm not sure of the practicality of moving sixth forms halfway through your A-Levels - and they are grammar schools, so not sure how they'd feel about you transferring for Year 13. I have heard that if you do move sixth forms, you may have to/be better off redoing Year 12 from scratch. This is because of different schools using different exam boards, and AS marks may not carry over, or so I've heard. (Take the above with a pinch of salt, because I'm only going by what I've read on sites like here. Hope this helped you.)
