So I want to be a primary school teacher in the future and am currently looking to apply to experiences which seem like they would be helpful to me when applying to University. I've found it so hard to find many experiences which specifically cater for prospective teachers.
I've joined a programme called K+, completed the Young Journalist Programme, but I feel like these aren't very relevent in regards to what I want to do in Uni.
I've also volenteered for charity, done work experience in 2 primary schools (next work experience this july), and have been accepted for a Summer school at London Metropolitan University which looks at how children can learn from play.
I'm not sure if what I've done so far will be enough for my personal statement.
Does anybody know of any other experiences/programmes/taster days which will be of help to me (and anyone else, of course) during my application for a Primary Education Degree?
Thanks to anyone who replies!
