Hey, so next year I'll be starting sixth form and I came across something called the extended project qualification on my new school's website. I was wondering if any of you could tell me a little bit more about it and I was also wondering if I could do it in maths cuz I really love the subject lol

Hi you can do the extended project on anything as long as it doesn't overlap with your other subjects. Even if your taking maths you might still be able to do your epq on maths if you choose something that is not in your specification. You can do either a 5000 word essay or an artefact e.g a leaflet or a model with a 1000 word essay explaining why you did what you did. You then do a small presentation at the end to show the processes you went through and to evaluate. Hope this helps, I did epq this year and it can be less stressful than other subjects cause it's all lead by you but it's all about time management.
    Good luck 😀
