1. Only did 5 out of the 8 q's.

Contains the questions on

Complex numbers (finding roots)
First order diff eqns (the second one)
Maclaurin/Taylor expansion
de Moivre's theorem
Polar co ords
2. Here:

READ:

part B of de Moivre's theorem should say 10 sin theta

Diff eqn should read e^2theta, not e^-2theta. Should also say -cos(theta) at the end. My bad

Complex numbers was 8(root3 + i), not (8 + 8root3 i) so small type here are the top. the argument is indeed pi/6 though

Note: May contain errors. Let me know if there are any

4. Afraid your second one wrong
5. How many marks do u lose (out of 7) if u find the general solution for the d.equ and forgetting to use ur boundries to find a perticular solution ? 😞
6. Part B of the De Moirve's has an error
7. (Original post by callum9977)
Part B of the De Moirve's has an error
What was wrong?

Should say 10 sin theta right?
8. (Original post by Random1357)
Afraid your second one wrong
That's what i was thinking, i got something different when i used integration by parts twice not sure tho.
9. (Original post by Random1357)
Afraid your second one wrong
Might be. How so?
10. what was the answer to the first order differential question with p, q and r. Cant remember the exact question.
11. You changed an e^2theta to e^-2theta midway through

Edit: the one in front of cos

are you going to do the other ones?

Add this to the MA, might be wrong (check)
15. Yeah, I think so anyway

Check your last line! Missing a factor of n on 9
17. (Original post by Random1357)
Check your last line! Missing a factor of n on 9
Should be n(n^2-3n-9)

RIP, my bad
(Fixed)

Here:

part B of de Moivre's theorem should say 10 sin theta

Diff eqn should read e^2theta, not e^-2theta. This can be simplified further but i cba

I think you got the arg angle wrong for the first one, since the angle is arctan root 3 which is π/3, cause that what i got.

it's pi/6 it's the arctan of 1/root(3)
