1. Hi, I'd like to make this for a last minute thread before the exam! The aim is to answer a question in the replies that is unanswered and THEN make a question yourself for others! Or you could just either exchange talks by helping each other.

I'll start.

Expand and simply (y+6)(y-9)

Expand and simply (y+6)(y-9)
y^2 - 9y + 6y - 54

therefore y^2 - 3y - 54

(5n+1)^2 - (5n-1)^225n^2 + 10n + 1 - 25n^2 + 10n -1

= 20n
= 2(10n)

1.1 divided by 0.88 (1 - 0.12) = 1.25 = 1kg 25g

In a frequency polygon, do we have to join the shape to the x-axis? Or do we lose marks for it?

Yeah don't join it or you'll lose 1 mark out of the usual 2 or 3 marks.
13. Can anyone link some predicted papers, other than the ON maths one and the Just Maths one? A mark scheme would be great too!

I'm doing tht paper, I got:
100% + 3% = 103% divided by 100 to get a decimal.
2500 x (1.03) ^2 = 2652.25
so yh its £2652.25
Hope tht helped
