So, I'm pretty much nearing the end of my first year. Tomorrow's my last exam and I'm unable to revise at the moment as I'm stressing out.

I've passed all my modules last semester, and I'm not sure about the ones in this semester but tomorrow's exam is worth 100% of the module grade. This module is actually one of the optional ones, and I highly regret taking it as it ended up not only being something I'm not entirely interested in, but completely overwhelming.

I've struggled with my study habits for a while this year and although I know it was irresponsible of me not to contact my tutor/course leader, I just thought I'd manage to make it work somehow alone. And I haven't.

So there goes my question, will I be failing this year if I do not do well in tomorrow's examination and thus fail the module? I realise there is not much I can do at this point, but I was hoping knowing what might happen (bad or good) will ease my mind. Thanks guys (and sorry for the long post!).

    Hi Maeon,

I hope the exam went alright in the end. Revision can be hard, particularly when you've got a lot on your mind. In future, you might find the ASK part of the university's website useful: http://about.brighton.ac.uk/ask It's a collection of tips and resources for studying, revising, essay writing, etc.

If you're still wondering about passing the year based on the results of certain modules, I'd recommend having a chat with your course team or personal tutor. Each course will have regulations and criteria for passing/failing and for marking, so it's best to get it directly from them.
