I doubt it will matter too much Obviously events are sometimes organised over Facebook but I'm sure you will have friends who can let you know when things are happening etc.

YAS! Never clicked a title so fast in my life XD- I deleted facebook over a year ago and I'm wondering whether or not to get it back not just for social reasons but to keep in touch with people from home and store my pictures. I dont think it'll be too much of a problem in terms of making and keeping friends etc. But I personally keep feeling as if the new people I meet will forget about me cos I dont have any social media- idk
