I'm so confused. How can stratefied sample be 11 males as the answer was 10 point something students but you can't have a part of a student so I rounded down to 10?!!
You would still be allowed to have 10 don't worry about it(:

Okay good!! Surely it's still right?

I think it usually is like allow either the bracket version or the x^2 version on the mark schemes because they are the same thing
5. when will a proper nark scheme be availlable?
6. Does anybody have the questions with max. marks for each?
7. Anyone did the foundation paper please?

Some one help me please!!! I expanded (x+1)(x-1) to get x^2-1 would this still be right for Q25??

I believe it would.

what was the guy called?
Mr Kibria
11. I got 80.5 for the last questions, is that wrong?
12. (Original post by Disfuligee)
You rounded too early
The angle was 40.00520088
The side was 5.216 etc.
I rounded to 5.22, the only one I did. I'm sure they'll accept answers from 80.1-80.4 as long as you rounded to 3 s.f. and no less (why it's important to show your working!)

I think you meant to put +4x at the end there mate proving I am right
Yeah you're right it was meant to be 4x but that still makes you wrong because then it will make it -5x

Yeah you're right it was meant to be 4x but that still makes you wrong because then it will make it -5x
3x^2-5x-12 was the bottom half was it not?
18. When do the papers get posted online?
19. (Original post by thomas-cowley)
That's a third of the solution - you found the wrong angle
First step was rearranging the area formula
And then cosine and sine rule
