Im quite new to this so I'm not so sure how to the whole spoiler thing and whatever there normally is on other markschemes. Sorry in advance for any mistakes made. Please help complete the mark scheme
2. Hey! thanks for the answers, just wondering how for number 1 it was 3n+4. I thought the number sequence went 17-->19-->21? I put n+3? Maybe I was overlooking some important factor?
3. Hey. Do people actually have the paper as I am finding it hard to see how many marks I got as I forgot the Q's Lol. Soz to be a pain! :-)
4. From what I remember the first 3 terms were 7, 10, 13 so 3n+4 fits the sequence.

Okay thanks but do you mind explaining if it won't take too long? Isn't 7 to 10 just plus three, like 10 to 13?

Yes this would be helpful, I agree

To find the nth term, you want to find the common difference (In this case it was 3), and put it by n.
So what we know at this point is that it starts 3n. To make this correct and relevant to what we are given, which was 7, 10, 13, ... you want to subtract the difference on the first term. So 3n+4 because 7-3 = 4.
To check, simply solve to find what the first term would equal, so 3(1) + 4 = 7, or even to check further, using the second term 3(2) + 4 =10.
8. okay thankyou! I had no idea ughh. Thanks.
9. For question 16,the probability,I got 3/95 for a and 9/38 for b

11. You didn't forget it,the question was to show how you got (300+100root2)*pi,so there was no real answer, but instead the method you used

Hi,the sequence started 7,10,13,16,19 so the difference between each sequence is 3 therefore the nth term will be 3n, but this isn't all. Because the first term n is always=1 then we need to add 4 to make it 7.
3(1)+4=7
3(2)+4=10
3(3)+4=13
etc...
13. Has anyone actually got a copy of the paper?
14. was the probability q without replacement?? if it is I'm so done for, will they do error carried forward for the next one if i used my wrong probabilities?
15. ECF are very rarely given, but you may score some method marks!
16. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the paper from?
17. Would I be able to do igcse maths repeat in November? I messed up and I was actually confident. Now that I look back i knew the answer for every single question. If i repeat my maths GCSE does that mean my previous one is cancelled? }
18. Anyone have a clue what the grade boundaries will be like for both the IGCSE Maths papers?
19. 88 for A star
20. Can anyone please tell me if I would be able to do igcse maths repeat again. I messed up and the fact that I actually revised and knew everything is killing me inside. I would just like to do it again. Another question if I'm redoing the igcse does that mean my past grade form this current gcse is cancelled?
