I am finishing my first year of the health and social care extended level 3 diploma. Through a number of reasons I have only achieved mainly passes for the units I have done this year. Plus my college isn't very good at all. Now I'm worried that I will not be able to get into any unis next year. I was just wondering if I achieve all merits and distinctions next year will I still be able to get into university??

Sorry you've not had any responses about this. Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

You can also find the Exam Thread list for A-levels here and GCSE here. :dumbells:

    Hi, hope you are well.

If you achieve all merits and distinctions in all of the units next year, then your overall will be a merit. Bearing in mind that the majority will have to be distinctions (if not all). The second years units are fairly easier than the first. So work hard for them distinctions and you'll easily get a merit overall. All the best in your studies and I hope you get into a fantastic university.
