I'm currently about to finish the first year of my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT, and I'm looking into doing a BSc in Computer Science. The website specifies an entry requirement of DDD for BTEC and hopefully, I should be getting D*D*D* at the end of my second year but there is a possibility this could slip down down to D*D*D, as I did miss some deadlines.

I currently have a C, narrowly missing a B, in GCSE Maths but I will be retaking it in 2017 to try and get at least a 7 or 8 (they're the reformed ones) in order to satisfy that requirement. I also have a C in an EPQ I did in secondary school, but I'm not sure what type of leverage it would have.

With these grades, is there a realistic chance of receiving an offer? What type of BTEC grades do people usually and actually get in with?

I've firmed Computer Science at Lancaster and my offer is DDD in my BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Uniformed Public Services.
