Basically, I was planning on going to university this year. However, I don't think i'll be able to get the grades so I have decided to apply for an access course, the college is quite far from where i'm currently living and I am desperate to move out.
Can anybody give me a rough idea of how much money i'd need to live on? (everything excluding bills and rent)
Also is it possible for me to fund this all by getting a job? I'd be working and doing an access course 3 days a week. I'm 19 by the way.

Food shouldn't cost you any more than £20-25 a week. Everything else, really depends on you. I walk most places; so don't have any transport costs. (unless on the rare occassion I go to another city and need to get the train)
