What salary are you aiming to earn when you are 25?

Based on the career I hope to go into, around 30k. 25K minimum
Realistically I think £50K is a good target.

However I'm going to set my sights higher and say £60K.

I believe a good aim on average is twice your age, I'm 20 at the moment, and am not far off, so hope it continues!

I want to go into virology so around 18-25K probably.
Just thought I'd add, my friend just graduated with a chemical engineering degree - 53K is his starting salary!

what is the job?
I want to be earning enough to do the following:

a) live comfortably in the country I am already in
b) save enough money for holidays and the other odd luxury
c) get on the property ladder without a compromise on life quality

I'm pretty much almost there so can't complain. I'll be in a position to enjoy my life all year without sacrifices, get on the property ladder and also have nice holidays and so forth. Life is good.

How old are you now ?

I'm surprised to see a western woman who doesn't want to spend her 20s just partying and riding the **** carousel. Good for you.

5-year-old thread but I don't even care, what kind of crappy take is this and why did it get 15 upvotes?

Was this a 7 day a week job? Yes those jobs are 36-42 hours a week. A part time job would earn even less... I'm thinking that even a postgrad is a grad and looking at entry-level jobs rather than midweight positions (unless they're older students with more work experience)
