UCAS thing?

Hey guys!

Was told the other day about something UCAS has brought out, where if you receive no offer come a2 results day from your uni, you will automatically get offers from other unis who will accept you?

Does anyone know what this is called? Where I might find it and able to sign up for it?

It isn't automatic offers from other universities - it's agreeing for UCAS to sell your data to universities so that they can approach you on results day if you're in clearing. It doesn't gain you any advantage - you can contact many more universities through Clearing yourself.

They'll email about it in July/August trying to encourage you to sign up so that they have more product to sell.

Universities pay UCAS £600 per placed applicant found via this route.
