1. I have been doing past papers over the last few weeks, and my C4 grades on them do not align with my other units. for example, i got C1 - 78%, C2 - 85%, C3 - 85%, but in C4 i get around 60-65%.
Do you have any advice, other than to do a past paper a day?

C4 is difficult, probably the most difficult A-level maths (exc Further Maths etc) that you have to do.

The first thing to do is to identify why it is that you are getting 60-65%. Is it that you're always struggling with specific topics, and fine on others? is it that more difficult questions are always throwing you off and costing you marks? Is it 'silly mistakes' that you could check over and get more marks with?

When you work that out, you can move forward.

yeah, it's usually binomial expansion stuff but i think i have that figured now, also integration i really struggle with.. specifically by parts and substitution. I find the harder vectors questions challenging and struggle to pick up any marks at all :') and (big list i know) the questions about rates where you have to manipulate dy/dx or similar.I'll have to go over these from the text book as well as a past paper a day to try to understand it better. thanks for actually letting me get all this down

Good, you are identifying the problem areas you can work on questions from the textbook in that area, or focus on solomon paper questions on that area if you have the time

Vectors are tough as well, in the end I gave up on them for C4 and just understood the basics and focused on the other areas.
