Are these GCSEs good enough for medicine?

My predicted grades are

1) English Literature- B
2) English Language- B
3) Further Maths- B
4) Maths- A*
5) History- A
6) Computing- A*
7) Religious Studies- A*
8) Physics -A*
9) Biology- A*
10) Chemistry A*

Would these grades be good enough?

Also if my English GCSEs were both Cs would I still have a good chance at medicine, providing I got good A levels and good non-academic achievements, such as volunteering and Duke of Edinburgh.

Cs in English would limit where you can apply. Ideally you want a minimum of Bs.

Things are a bit up in the air, with changes to the new a-levels, so I think medicine admission policies will vary a bit for the next couple of years. It will be important to do your homework before you apply anywhere.
