I have got my English Lit A2 Exam resit on Friday, and having resat the AS coursework this year I have attained the following UMS marks:

    AS Exam - 96/120 UMS
    A2 Exam - 82/160 UMS
    AS Coursework - 68/80 UMS
    A2 Coursework - 76/80 UMS

I have a couple of questions if anybody could kindly answer:

1 - Does every coursework submitted by a school get moderated?
2 - Does the grade boundaries for coursework change each year?
3 - What grade would those marks get me?
4 - Whats the minimum marks I need in my A2 exam this friday to get an A* overall?

    Any help much appreciated!

Maybe this site will help to calculate grade/what you need to get a certain grade.

    1) It depends on the size of your class really. if there's a lot of people, then the highest, average and lowest marks get sent off to get moderated. If there are only like 8 people in your class, then all of it could possibly be sent off.

    2) it can, yes. Sometimes the grade boundaries can stay the same but sometimes it can fluctuate by one or two marks (most likely one for English lit - I do it too!)

    3) I'm not sure, hopefully someone will be able to help you figure it out but check on the site I recommended, it might tell you.

    4) Once again, the grade calculator will be able to tell you. Perhaps don't enter the A2 exam mark so that you can see what you need to gain in the exam.
