I am currently in a level 3/4 financial administration apprenticeship and I pretty much hate it.
The team I work with bully me and are pretty much awful (I've reported this to HR, it goes okay for a little while but it all just starts up again). I don't know much about finance but I though that was the point, to learn on the job? But they mock me because I have to ask questions all the time. Also, finance isn't for me... I am sick to death of dealing with pensions!
I have applied to college and got in for this September. Can I just write a resignation letter and call a meeting with my manager to say I want to leave, does it work like that in an apprenticeship as obviously there is a 3rd party company training me?
Also, the law about staying in education until you're 18... If I leave the last week in July, there will be 5 weeks of 'holiday' before starting college. Will this be okay?
Leaving my apprenticeship?
