    Thank you forasking about our flexible professionaldevelopment, part-time postgraduate courses in Software Engineering andSystems Security.The SoftwareEngineering Programme is designed for professional development, is part-timeaimed at working professionals. We run short, one-week modulesall year round, teaching the essential principles and practices of software andsecurity. Modules can be taken individually, as focussed units ofprofessional education, or used in combination to build towards a Master ofScience (MSc) from the University of Oxford: ten short modules are required,together with a project and dissertation. Most of those studying for an MSc are employedfull-time in industry: as consultants, designers, developers, managers,engineers, or architects. Many live andwork outside the UK, travelling to Oxford three or four times a year to attendshort courses/modules. Class sizes aresmall - typically 16-18 participants - and there is considerable scope forinteraction and discussion during the teaching week. The cost of eachmodule is £1850 (between October 2016 and September 2017). There isa standard registration fee for an MSc, payable annually in four manageableinstalments of £3160, discounted to £2010 for those with UK/EU student status,a fee schedule is attached.
