Why bother with a post grad? Are they even worth it? Have your say! 26-10-2016

    Hi everyone!
I'm looking to apply to do Primary PGCE at a university in South Wales beginning in 2017.
Having looked at Student Finance Wales I notice that they state on their website that they will not fund this.
Does anyone know of any other funding options for the £9k tutition fees?

Are you sure? I know SFE fund PGCEs. I would recommend looking at applying for SFE if they don't.

There are no 'traditional' alternatives, You'll have to do some research to look for funding or look at loan options.

Student finance Wales do loans for PGCEs. It's one of the only postgrad courses they will fund. "Postgraduate courses are not funded by Student Finance Wales unless they lead to a qualification in Initial Teacher Training."
