I am year 1 at college. I started the first year of struggling and needed help for understanding assignment, as well as the teacher understanding what I wrote. It got that bad the counsellor referred me to get an spld screening. I had 2 screening and the test said I have signicant information processing difficulties, which are normally associated with dsylexia and dsypraxia, however evidence to confirm this weren't clear. My report also included I had visual stress and dyselxic and dsypraxic tendencies too.
College have helped me so much printing work for in colour, extra time, assignment extended deadlines , Having learning mentor and tutoring. My teacher are helping me by explaining things alor better.
I am very happy and lucky, but I know I am gonna go uni and I feel like they won't help me, because it doesn't say I'm actually dyslexic or dsypraxic. Does anyone know what they will do when I start and how they may help me? I don't care about money for my problems when starting, all I want is help
Will universty help me with my learning problem
