    Hi everyone,
what will you choose if you were me in my situation?

    A) Doing a MA in Art and Cultural Management in 2 years at UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE .

    B) Doing a diploma in Art history at GOLDSMITH (1 year) and then apply for a MA in London ( Goldsmiths or another university in London UCL/ Kings ?)

Knowing that I 'm french and currently living in Melbourne and city that I adore. But studying here in Australia is 5 times more expensive for me that going back to Europe.
Also I'm not 100% sure of what I want to do in the future and doing the diploma at Goldsmiths give me 1 more year to decide which master I really want to get into . And to be honest I'll be pretty excited to go there too .

But at the same time, is it not silly to refuse a place at University of Melbourne that have a prestigious reputation worldwide??

Reputation doesn't really matter. What matters is your career path and how employable you are. You don't have to do a masters degree. Whether or not it's required depends on what you want to do. If I were in your place I'd spend some time thinking about what I want to do and gaining some work experience and then applying for further study, if needed, based on where I want to head.
