Hey guys, so basically I received offers from 4 of my choices and I ended up choosing Uni of Bath as my firm choice and Uni of Birmingham as my insurance choice to study accounting and finance. Bath is asking for a 15/20 overall in the french baccalaureate (which is doable) and a 15/20 in maths. The 15/20 is above the AAA they ask from UK students to get in A-levels according to ucas because AAA = 14/20 overall. While Birmingham asks for 14/20 overall and at least 10/20 in maths.
However, due to personal problems I know that I messed up on my maths exam, in the french baccalaureate, and so instead of having a 15/20 in maths I'll end up having between 12/20 and 14/20 (if I'm lucky enough). I am really worried that I end up not having my firm choice considering that I worked hard to get it and I privilieged Bath over Warwick just because I thought that I would get more chances to get in if I missed by a little knowing that Warwick is a tons more competitive than Bath.
I know Birmingham is a great uni too, but I am just wondering if Bath might still give me a chance because I heard and read that unis were more flexible with international students (especially overseas like I do because we pay more than UK students).
Besides I get my results on June 28th, which is before A-Levels results I believe?
Can someone please tell me if there is something I can do or if someone who had a similar situation still got in in Bath or any other uni ?
Thank you in advance for any answer :P
Missed my offer by a little - international student
