Not turning up to an exam?

What would your school do if you didn't turn up to an exam? My school calls up the students parents and if they still don't turn up they have gone to an extent of knocking on their doors and escorting those students to the exam.

I don't plan on personally doing this. I am just curious what other schools do when students don't turn up?

You get a N marked on your exam.
Someone didn't turn up to the exam. The invigilators took down the girls name and candidate number. I guess she got a U.

No ( I don't go to school)

But i've heard of that happening on TSR/forums. Maybe a myth though

My school once delayed an exam by 20 minutes in finding two students. They went out of school for lunch and were supposed to be back by 1:10 for a Biology exam but decided to hang outside a pub abandoning their GCSE exam. Another student supposedly saw them when returning back to school after lunch and someone from the school went and got them for the exam. There have also been many other occasions when students decided not to turn up even after the school rang home so the school went and picked them up from their house.

My school seems too nice compared to other schools who don't care if you get a U. They make every single student sit the exam no matter what it takes to find them.
