Can anyone get 3 A's at A2 given the time and dedication?

Is it enough to get all A's for Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Psychology if I HAVE spent the time doing past papers and memorising? Or do I really need a deeper understanding of the concept and need to read into the subject to get decent grades?
Generally you need to have an understanding, the sciences especially tend to throw curveballs that require you to have a decent understanding. Chemistry mainly does it through the analysis, not entirely sure about biology and Maths they just try to make the numbers come out odd.
