When is everybody doing their UKCAT? Do you think it is best to get it over and done with at the start of summer or to leave it until late summer/early next academic year so that you have more time to prepare?

Hi, Im getting mine done mid August. I guess I just want plenty of time to prepare .

I applied for Medicine this year and I did my UKCAT in August, just before results day so that on results day I had my UKCAT result and my AS results so I could start thinking about where to apply. It also meant I could focus on UKCAT for a month and then focus on my personal statement afterwards.

I would advise you not to do it in October; my friend tried this and she said it got really hectic with UKCAT revision, school work and personal statement.

    Good luck!
