All the musicians and artists in here, please read my post because I really need your advice..
So it's late june, and I'm going through a bit of a tough moment because I've been accepted into Brunel composition Bmus and Westminster Commercial Music BA, and I don't know which one to choose.
Unfortunately I don't live in the UK - yet - so I didn't have the chance to visit any of these two unis, so I don't have much unfo expect websites and forums,
Can anybody who is already enrolled in one of those two courses, or about to enrol like me, tell me iif they're good?
I'm very inteterested especially in the quality of teachers, because, as you know, the right teacher in music is everything. I'm a singer/songwriter, and a pianist, composing mainly pop, soul, alternative-rock genre. I would like kost to deepen my composition skills, but also technical and practical ones wouldn't be bad, so I can get a wider overviwe of composition tools and method to be strongly prepared, without composing only "by ear" like I've done 'til know.
So I'm looking for a place with interesting and serious lectures, in a department that takes art seriously, and not just like a hobby. And well, a nice and vibrant environment would be great
Thank you very much for your help
