Queen's University Belfast
Is Queens university respected and shall i apply?

I am interested in studying History and politics at Queens university Belfast. after doing intensive research I've found mixed reviews but this was from 5 years ago so I was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions for me. BTW im from the UK
1) Will going to queens help me stand out from others when going for a job, is it a world renowned respected university (I Know its Russell group but its ranked 36th in the UK and 200 in the world)
2) whats the social life like in Belfast as I heard its like a ghost town. any good clubs that play the popular urban music? Also are the parties any good!
3)Is the crime rate high in Belfast?
4)overall is it a good university and would you recommend it
