It depends on the direction of motion. I generally use positive 9.8 when an object is moving downwards with gravity as gravity acts towards Earth. I then take -9.8 for objects moving upwards.
Really it shouldn't matter as long as you always take upwards forces/ movement to be positive and downwards forces/ movement to be negative. Or vice versa: the key is to be consistent.
Clear working out with diagrams if possible. Check as you go through. Hope for the best I guess Perhaps look through some papers from other exam boards?
What is everyone doing to prepare for this exam tomorrow? I've done all the past papers lol I'm just going to do a few questions from the AQA M1 revision guide.
Ah thanks man but how do you know that angle is a and not the angle on the other corner since a was th angle from a to b and he travelled back the same path?
