Should I bother applying to St Andrews with these grades?

Poll

Which uni would you rather go to?

At GCSE I got 3A*, 6A, 1B as follows:
Maths- A*
English Languge- A
English Lit- A*
French- A
RE- A*
Core science- A
Science additional - A
Geography- A
Art- A
Product Design- B
I did extra maths qualification getting a B

At AS:
I think I've got at the worse: BBBC
And at the best: AABB

And next year I believe I'll get AAB at worse or A*AA at best.

Do i stand a chance at getting into psychology at st. Andrews? I heard it is so competitive at its entry standards are over 500! Even though the entry requiremnts for psychology is just AAB for me, which is confusing.
Thanks in advance
APersonally, I think you may have a shot but it depends what your other unis are.

Your best grades would put you in avery decent position, and even with your worst predicted grades you could still be fine, St Andrews don't over emphasise GSCE grades so you should be okay there. Make sure your personal statement and reference are very strong, and you stand a decent chance. good luck
It depends what course you're doing, they vary in competitiveness, maybe this Brexit has scared off some EU students which will reflect flexibility also, Its always worth a try.
