You'd usually be given a 16 hour contract, but you'll find yourself working anywhere between 16 and 30+ hours. It really depends on the place you're working, but they'll try to give you as many as they can. I can't remember them and whether they would apply to you, but there's also laws regarding how much and when young people can work, so that's also something to keep in mind and look into.
