Missed the guaranteed accommodation deadline - what do I do???
So as it turns out, I just realised that I've missed the deadline at Birmingham for guaranteed accommodation. My fault, I know; but what happens if I end up not getting any accommodation at all? Hopefully I have some measure of leverage, as I have firmed Birmingham, but I'm still quite worried
Still apply. Allocations are made soon after results day and that can be unpredictable.
First years who don't not get a place in UoB accommodation can find third party (which there are plenty). If you fail to get a place it is not uncommon for first years to live in a house share in Selly Oak. The guild has provisions in place for such situations
